Little Women and Sonic

Mom and Deb came in last Wednesday and I was so happy to have them come to visit! I am missing then so terribly much. It has made me really homesick. We have had a blast from the minute they got here. We went out to eat every night, we shopped and we went to Concord.

First the shopping. Thursday we went to Mystic to shop. Christina came with us. We walked around Mystic, ate at Mystic Pizza and went to Starbucks for coffee. It was too much fun. We went to The Old Mystic Shops and bought some cute scarves for mine and Christina's babes. Despite the look on her face, Laila loves her scarf!! And she looks fabulous in it! After we looked around in all the shops, we came home and Christina came with us to dinner. We ate at the Seaman's Pub. It is such and great seafood place to eat! Friday Mom and Deb took me shopping all over! We started out at Ruby Tuesdays for lunch and then went to Dicks because I wanted some North Face things, but I didnt find anything, then we went to Micheals because Mom wanted to buy some stuff for the house, which looks even more fabulous than before. She always does good decorating when she is up here! We went to Target and I got some clothes and books, ahh books. I love books. Anyway, we went to the mall and I got some undies and bra's from Vickies and then we went to H&M, ahh H&M... who doesnt LoVe that place?! I sure do. And later, off to Kohls! Chad and I got some great things there too. Saturday was a great lazy day. We drank coffee and hung out here at the house and at about 6 went to dinner at the Mystic Inn. MmMmMm its so good! ... and quaint! That was for you Christina!! And that brings me to Sunday...

Sunday Mom, Debbie and I were off to Concord Mass. I cant even begin to explain the beauty of that town. We got there about an hour before our tour at Orchard House began, so we decided to eat at Colonel Inn. We had a fabulous brunch there. After brunch, we went to Orchard House! YAY! If you dont know what that is, it is where Louisa May Alcott wrote Little Women. It was everything that I dreamt it would be. I have always wanted to go there! I have been watching Little Women since I was like 6. So needless to say,my mother, aunt and I were glad to be there. I cant even begin to describe the beauty of the whole city of Concord. This whole visit was just wonderful. I had the greatest time. I loved it!.. even if I am missing them terribly!!!!
Now to Sonic. It seems my Dad is having a rough time at Sonic with employees. He is short-handed. Chad and I thought maybe I should go home and help him. I would love to be home, but I will miss Chad so much. I couldnt do it until the end of the month because the 19th is our anniversary and I have a doc's app on the 24th... which totally sucks cause I would have LOVED to spend Easter at TDF. But thats not going to happen. Dad said with all the different spring break, he is good for the next 3 weeks and doesnt need employees. I always like helping Dad out and I would get to see Lauren too. I havent seen her since her sweet Mom died. I would love just to spend my time with her. I miss my best friend. Im very torn though. I miss Chad so much when I'm not with him. I would be up there for 2 weeks or so. I wish I could help out longer but 2 weeks is a long time to be away from your husband!! Plus Chad is going to AZ in May for a week, so thats more time apart. Sheesh. But like I said, I want to help Dad out and maybe by then Dad can find some good workers. He needs them too. Dont even get me started about some of those people!! That job pays well too. Carhops make bank! So if you know anyone looking for a job, send them to Dad.

Thats all I have to say for now!

Sounds like you had a good time with your mom!! If you do come to Nashville then we all need to go do something! Maybe you could come see our house and meet Jack! :)

Also, don't get me started on H&M. I'm actually glad we don't have one here because I'd be BROKE! It's like a treat to be able to shop at an H&M!

Thanks for finally blogging! I was missing it!
